J. Thomas Beck
President & C.E.O.
Tom Beck founded SHEC in 1996, and has been working steadily to
bring cost effective renewable hydrogen generation technologies
to market. Tom was passionate about science and technology from
and early age, and built his first thermal chemical hydrogen
generator while still in grade school. He attended DeVry
Technical Institute, and graduated in 1977 with a diploma in
Electronics and Computer Controls.
Tom received a High Tech Entrepreneur Award for Innovation and
Scientific Breakthrough from KPMG Peat Marwick Thorne in 1990,
and was nominated by BMO Nesbitt Burns for Entrepreneur of the
Year in 2000.

L. James Porter , B. Comm, CA, CPA, CFA
CFO
Jim Porter joined SHEC in 2004, and has been on the Board of
Directors since 2005. Mr. Porter received his Bachelor of
Commerce degree in Finance from the University of British
Columbia in Vancouver in 1987. He received his Chartered
Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of British Columbia in 1990, his Chartered
Financial Analyst designation from the Institute of Chartered
Financial Analysts in 1994, and his Certified Public Accountant
designation (State of Illinois ) from the University of
Illinois in 1999.
Jim has extensive corporate experience, having served as CFO of
Nasdaq National Market, Nasdaq SmallCap Market, OTC Bulletin
Board, TSX and TSX-Venture listed companies He is a member of
the Vancouver CFA Society, the CFA Institute, the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of BC and the Canadian Institute of
Chartered Accountants.

Raymond Fehr
VP Marketing
Ray has been involved with SHEC since their inception in 1996,
and is currently responsible for managing SHEC's relationships
with both Federal Government departments and targeted global
strategic partners.
Before joining SHEC, Ray held a position with a major
international automotive aftermarket company, where he was a
Marketing Coordinator responsible for corporate development in
Saskatchewan.

James S. Hansen
VP Corporate Development
Mr. Hansen received his Engineering degree from the University
of Saskatchewan with experience specifically in the fields of
project development and construction, cost engineering, and
petroleum engineering. He also has extensive business
expertise, having spent the last 20 years in business
management and corporate development. During that period of
time Mr. Hansen has founded, developed, and sold the assets
of his company to the largest privately held multinational
firm in the United States, in addition to managing the 41
year old family corporation.

Neil Mohammed, MBA, B.A.,
Director
Neil Mohammed is a director of BMO Capital Markets. He joined
the BMO Financial Group in 1996 and focuses on the origination,
structuring and distribution of private and public high yield
securities. Selected public transactions include Lead Managed
Pope and Talbot Senior Notes offering, and Co-Lead manager on
Compton Petroleum, Kimball Hill Homes and Paramount Resources
Notes offerings. Prior to joining the Debt Capital Markets
Group, Mr. Mohammed was in the Project Finance and Loan
Products Group, where he was involved in debt transactions in
a wide variety of industries including industrial,
telecommunications, retail and power sectors. Mr. Mohammed
received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from the
University of Manitoba and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier
University.

Donald Spanier
Director
Don is a director and co-founder of SHEC. He became
involved in the company after leaving his position of principal
with APEX Concrete Products Limited, and currently also owns
and operates several commercial real-estate ventures.
Don has significant expertise in manufacturing and related
disciplines.

Pierre Rivard, BSc, MBSc, MBA
Director
Pierre has recently joined the board of SHEC, and brings a vast
amount of industry experience to the team. Pierre has served as
President and Director of Hydrogenics since the inception of
their fuel cell related business in 1995, and has been CEO
since 2000. He became Executive Chairman of the Board of
Hydrogenics in December of 2006.
Pierre earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Toronto, a Master's degree in Business
Administration from the University of Western Ontario, and a
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal
Military College of Canada.
From 1994 to 1995, he served as a research engineer at the
University of Toronto with the Department of Mechanical
Engineering.
