SHEC Energy debuted as a solar thermal power company in Abu Dhabi at the World Future Energy Summit in 2009. SHEC Energy, through its US subsidiary, was selected by the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy of the US Department of Energy as one of a dozen companies from the United States to be represented at this event. It was evident at this event that SHEC had developed innovative technologies for solar thermal power generation that were unmatched. Since then we have garnered global interest in our technology and expect to close 200 million watts of solar projects per year for the next several years.
