SHEC Labs Closes Private Placements
SASKATOON, Canada: - SHEC Labs - Solar Hydrogen Energy Corporation
(SHEC Labs) today announced that it has closed a number of private
placement share offerings during 2000 and 2001.
SHEC Labs relied on a number of exemptions from the registration and
prospectus requirements of applicable securities legislation to
raise funds during 2000 and 2001, including the $150,000 exemption,
the close friends and close business associates exemption and the
isolated trade exemption. SHEC Labs also completed a rights
offering in early 2001. A private placement of shares to a Michigan
based video production services company was completed in
consideration for the production of a corporate video. In total,
SHEC Labs raised approximately $1,700,000 during the years 2000 and
2001. Since incorporation, SHEC Labs has raised approximately
$3,100,000.
The funds raised by SHEC Labs have been used to hire additional
staff and purchase additional equipment to more quickly advance the
various technologies being developed.
