In the near future SHEC will be dramatically decreasing the cost of solar collection with next generation technology now in development.

In the future, SHEC intends to use a wide variety of sources in their Dry Fuel Reformation process, including methane from a source such as biogas, landfill gas, flare gas, stranded gas and coal-bed methane.

The next generation of solar hydrogen involves direct water splitting with only water as the primary feed component. Six of the ten steps needed for this process are already integrated into the current Dry Fuel Reformation system.

SHEC is developing on board vehicle enhanced energy recovery technology that will significantly improve mileage for hydrogen vehicles.

SHEC is developing enhanced energy recovery technology for its planned green communities developments.
