Solar heating systems have been in use for decades and have mostly been adopted on an individual home or building basis. SHEC's Solar Concentration technology can be applied on a commercial scale for industrial process heating and steam generation and for district heating or the heating of green communities. Growing interest is being shown in this technology for the development of green communities, large malls and industry. Complementary in-home energy recovery and energy management systems offered by SHEC will further reduce the carbon footprint of traditional fossil fuel based heating systems.
